Finally, I am able to upload a video from my Las Vegas trip last weekend. Yeah, I’m always lazy editing and uploading videos. Anyway, this one is water fountain at Bellagio Hotel and Casino. You can see that I watched it several times from different angles.
PS: The quality might not be that great because I was just using video recorder from my camera (not a real camcorder).
If you own a Nokia phone, you might be familiar with “Nokia Tune”, a tune used by Nokia on all of their mobile phones sold after 1993.
Where does Nokia Tune come from? According to Nokia Conversations, the tune is taken from a composition called “Gran Vals” (a.k.a. Grand Valse) by Francisco Tarrega. According to Wikipedia, it was Anssi Vanjoki (together with Lauri Kivinen) who selected tune. I don’t know Anssi personally; what I know two things about him:
He used to be the boss of the boss of the boss of my boss.
He is very funny and smart guy.
Check YouTube video below. It is showing someone playing the guitar version of Gran Vals. Can you hear Nokia Tune?
As you may know, I just visited Las Vegas last weekend. Actually, I was not interested visiting Vegas at all… but since we might be moving from Vancouver, we decided to visit Vegas now. It would require more time and more money if we have to visit Vegas in the future.
What did I find in Vegas? First of all, casinos, casinos and casinos…. Casinos are everywhere.
It’s really a place for gambling. Not only jackpot and poker; we can also gamble on sports, such as football.
What else? A lot of shows. You can watch any shows, ranging from as little as $30 to as much as $120. There are also many free shows in front of Vegas hotels. The most popular one might be Bellagio Fountains.
