Happy Halloween everybody… I just want to share my favorite pumpkin carving this year. The picture is from MailOnline.
And here is a funny cartoon about our current financial crisis. The cartoon is from Slate Magazine.

I hope you agree with me. October 2008 is just a disaster for many of us. I read news about lay-off almost everyday. Here are some of them:
We can expect more and more layoff news coming in the next couple of months.
Am I nervous? Yes, indeed. The layoff may happen to me at any time. Two of my friends in Vancouver have just got laid off recently.
Anything impossible may become possible now. Some people said this is going to be the worst recession after Great Depression.
Last weekend, we went to Capilano Suspension Bridge to accompany our guests from Indonesia. They have Harvest Festival with Halloween decoration. I took some pictures using my Canon EOS 40D camera.
The first two pictures below are collection of pumpkins and maple leaves. Yes, we live in Canada…. so maple leaves must be there.
The picture below is a scarecrow in front of a restaurant near the bridge. Well… to me, it’s not scary at all.
PS: These pictures are also available on my Flickr account.
