Shutting Down ADCSoft.com
Admin May 5th. 2007, 9:14amADC-Soft is my own company that sells puzzle games. It is one-man company. I do everything from development, marketing to customer service. One of the most popular games is B-Jigsaw that allows you to create jigsaw puzzles from your own pictures.
It was started as a hobby project. I love programming so much. During Web 1.0 booming, I started to create a web site, called Antony’s Download Center (ADC), where people can download my applications. It is where the name ADC-Soft came from. My first web site was hosted on Geocities.com. For those who don’t know, Geocities.com was one of the first free Web hosting services. Later on, they are acquired by Yahoo!
My first web site was alive on my 23rd birthday, which is September 19, 1998. Since then, I have been selling thousand of puzzle games. I signed a contract with a Japanese company to translate and redistribute one of my games too. One thing that I can be proud of, I was able to pursue M.Sc. degree in Germany with the money from my own business.
After being around for almost 9 years, I decided to kill ADC-Soft. It’s a bad news, indeed. Unfortunately, I have to do it. I have limited time to do further development and support. What’s next? I am planning to start another business in the mobile industry. The plan is to have everything ready on my 32nd birthday this year.
Wish me luck….

Very sad to hear you’ve stopped B-Jigsaw. I used it for years and you copied 3 of my photos onto it! We had a new computer recently and the person who copied over my info onto it left B-Jig of it. Now I have tried to re-download it and got your close-down message. Well – I do wish you much success in your new venture. Do you have any suggestions as to whether I can still download it, or which jigsaw alternative you might recommend?

@Jo: Thanks for your comment. Yes, it’s so sad that I have to leave the business. You can find other jigsaw puzzles from the Internet. Try to search ones from http://www.download.com/

Hi Anthony, if there any chance you can send me my reg code from 7.67? I lost my e-mail, but still have the installation program for 7.7. I enjoy your program and wish you good luck, and stay away from volcanos.

Sorry to hear you closed up shop for now. I really lucked out in finding this site to know what your up too. Looks like you closed up shop for your birthday and I came to buy B-Puzzle for my birthday to go with the B-Jigsaw I bought a long time ago. I really enjoy B-Jigsaw, but on this second hand computer it’s freezing up the mouse for some reason after playing a while even after I CAD all other programs before starting. Gets me to quit when I should anyway. Not sure if I’ll be around another 9 years to see your next business. Best of luck and thanks for the enjoyable program.

Hi. Sorry to hear you’ve closed shop. I’ve moved B Jigsaw to a new computer but I’ve lost the reg code. Is there any way I can go on using the program. When I bought the download I used my old email of perthrd@btopenworld.com or else perthrd@tiscali.co.uk
It would be great if you can help.

Hey, Anthony!
I received a copy of your marvelous B-Jigsaw some time ago from a friend. Now, reading the comments requesting reg codes, I am sorely disappointed there was no reply from you. Since you are no longer going to support the program, can’t you make it freeware by providing a code that would work for everyone who has a copy of the program? Doing so would insure that your excellent work would stay in use ‘forever’!
