I am just trying Windows Live Writer, the latest blogging software from Microsoft. So far, I have been using WordPress’ editor to write my blog.

Actually Windows Live Writer is not the only blogging client software out there. There are many other software as highlighted by Darren Rowse in his post early this month. The bad news it that there is no software that dominates the blogging software market. That makes it more difficult for us to choose the right software.

I don’t want to end up using software that will disappear in the next couple of months because the company has gone bankrupt. For example w.bloggar, the second winner of blogging software according to Life Hacker survey. It seems they have financial problem so that we cannot even visit their home page (see screenshot below).

What is my impression using Windows Live Writer then? It has a nice usability feature as any other Microsoft software. But I think I need more time to experience with it.
